• Present your contact information in the last slide. It is important to be accessible by delegates for questions or comments after the event.
• You can download the conference template here.

• The video should be in the format of MP4 (size no larger than 500 Mb).
• Please make your recording appealing and intriguing to keep the audience engaged.
• Your recording should include your PowerPoint slides, along with your talk.
• Please minimize background noise, and allow sufficient lighting. Please avoid windows & lights directly behind the speaker. Good lighting in front of you generally delivers a better video quality.
• The recording should include the speaker. The speaker window should be displayed on the top right-hand corner of the slides being displayed.

• The digital poster should be presented in only one slide (with size of 16:9).
• You can prepare your digital poster using the template here.

• The video should be in the format of MP4 (size no larger than 200 Mb).
• The video is no more than 3 min.
• Your recording should include your Digital Poster or PowerPoint slides, along with your talk.
• Please minimize background noise, and allow sufficient lighting. Please avoid windows & lights directly behind the speaker. Good lighting in front of you generally delivers a better video quality.
• The recording should include the speaker. The speaker window should be displayed on the top right-hand corner of the slides being displayed.

 
*There are several video conferencing tools available to record a presentation. These methods allow you to show your face via webcam and display your slides as you talk. Our recommended approach is to record the presentation using Zoom or Tencent meeting, available to users on most platforms. Should the recommended tools be inaccessible to you, you may use other meeting softwares as long as a good quality recording can be obtained.
 
Uploading your files
Please use the following naming convention: AbstractID_video or AbstractID_ppt or AbstractID_poster (e.g. A1-0001_video). The AbstractID is the code that was entered in front of your paper title when it was accepted.
 
To be verified by the technical program committee, please upload your files to the Abstract Submission System during 20 - 30 September 2022.
 
Awards
After all presentations, the scientific committee will vote a Best Oral and a Best Poster, which will be celebrated at the closing ceremony.
 
Online Conference Pre-print Proceedings
 
The digital proceedings compile abstracts accepted by the conference. All abstracts are encouraged to be uploaded to the proceedings should the author wish. The proceedings will be available for all registered delegates around 1 week before the conference.
 
If you do not wish your paper to be accessible for all delegates of the conference, please let us know at ica_2022@tsinghua.edu.cn. In that case, only your name and title of the presentation will be included in the online proceedings.
 
Please note that your power point presentation will not be included in the online pre-print proceedings.
 
Full paper submission

You are recommended to submit a full paper to one of the IWA journals (namely: AQUA - Water Infrastructure, Ecosystems and Society, Water Science and Technology, Water Reuse). ICA2022 and IWA journals (namely: AQUA - Water Infrastructure, Ecosystems and Society, Water Reuse) would co-organize a special issue, and you are welcomed to submit your paper. The submission procedures and websites will be released at a later stage.
